TREASURE at EHP CONGRESS 2025

From 3rd to 5th June 2025, TREASURE participated in one of the most significant events for the district heating and cooling community, the Euroheat & Power (EHP) Congress, held in Prague under the theme The Heat Transition in Action. As Europe’s largest gathering in this area, the event hosted over 450 business leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators from across the continent.

TREASURE was honoured to be featured at the DHC+ Platform booth, hosted by our valued partner Euroheat & Power, alongside our sister projects THUNDER, USES4HEAT, and INTERSTORES. This collective presence underscored our shared commitment to accelerating the deployment of large-scale thermal energy storage and renewable heating solutions.

The event provided a dynamic platform to present TREASURE’s ongoing research and real-world applications, as well as to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration. Visitors to the booth had the opportunity to explore how TREASURE is contributing to the decarbonisation of heating through Pit Thermal Energy Storage (PTES), policy integration, and stakeholder engagement.

Key highlights of the EHP Congress 2025 included:

• The DHC+ Assembly and Euroheat & Power General Assembly sessions.

• The launch of the DHC Market Outlook 2025, providing key insights into emerging trends.

• Expert-led sessions on topics such as large-scale heat pump deployment, LTES applications, new business models for renewable heat, and smart integration of heat sources.

• Interactive networking with more than 30 exhibitors, including manufacturers, consultants, software providers, and municipalities.
